Mr. Cunningham is a retired (after 35 years) software engineer and a former Vice President of Software Engineering at Fast Search and Transfer, a Norwegian based search engine company (acquired by Microsoft), and TotalView Technologies (acquired by Rogue Wave Software), the developer of software used by the Tri-Lab research institutes to troubleshoot High Performance Super Computers.

In addition to technology, software development, and AI, he has many interests including education, writing, painting, gamification, physics, politics, cooking, and farming during summers, when he and his wife operate a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
